Lunch Table Talks

LUNCH TABLE TALKS is a series of conversations facilitated by a rotating cast of PlayCo staff members and associated artists with panelists from a myriad of fields during the lunch hours. The goal is to make public the intimate-yet-casual moments of lunchtime and the exchange of ideas and inspirations that comes from sharing a meal with others.

Launching this series, our current PlayCo interns, Wesley and Judy, will be talking with John Keene (author of “Counternarratives”, MacArthur Fellow, Professor of English at Rutgers) and Viet Thanh Nguyen (author of “The Sympathizer”, MacArthur Fellow, Professor of English at USC) about the role of professors, and writers of the global majority, in supporting and shaping the education of young writers of color.

Bring a lunch and join us for this exciting conversation on Thursday, July 29th at 2:30pm ET. The conversation will be streamed virtually. A link will be sent out to you 2 hours before the event begins.
