EdLoc 2021 National Convening “Celebrate Our Resilience”
Building and maintaining a diverse coalition of leaders of color is a critical, but difficult process. Our work demands that we interrogate and unpack our biases, that we examine how we came to believe that one group’s progress came at the expense of another’s, and that we confront the anti-Blackness and other forms of bias in ourselves and in the people we love. The past year has brought a global health pandemic and an uptick in violence against people of color that wreaked disproportionate havoc on our communities. Now, more than ever, we must reaffirm our commitment to this coalition, to our values, and to each other. Join EdLoC as we host a crucial conversation about coalition building across our cultures and communities.
