VOICES FOR GAZA was a tremendously moving event that brought together Palestinian writers and activists and their allies to speak about Gaza, Palestine, and genocide. Before an audience of many hundreds, the speakers demonstrated one of the most important values that can sustain us in a time of seemingly unending mourning, resistance, and struggle: solidarity.
VOICES FOR GAZA was made possible by the producers Raad Rahman (@siameseorchid) and Michiko Clark (@michikoclark), as well as Sarah McNally (@sarahcmcnally) and McNally Jackson Books (@mcnallyjackson), and took place at The Town Hall (@townhallnyc) in New York City on Sept. 21, 2025, hosted by Aasif Mandvi (@aasif) and with conversations moderated by John Freeman (@atreediary).
These are the speaker highlights from the event.
