Viet Delivers Plenary Speech at the ELLAK International Conference

The English Language and Literature Association of Korea (ELLAK) holds one international conference each year, in which over 200 academic papers are presented in 60 separate sessions. This year, “Cultural Studies and Its Discontents: Reconsidering Cultural Studies for the Twenty-First Century” was held at Onyang, Korea on November 17-19. The ELLAK opened a forum for re-assessing the legacies of cultural studies and discussing its future in the twenty-first century. Viet was invited to be the plenary speaker and presented on “War and Cultural Studies: Korean Memories of Viet Nam.”
