Viet Nguyen Presents Lecture at AAAS Conference

The Center for Asian American Studies at UT Austin hosted Asian American scholars from across the nation for the Association for Asian American Studies (AAAS) annual conference April 7-11, 2010. The conference explored the theme, “Emergent Cartographies: Asian American Studies for the Twenty-first Century,” through various panels, tours, film screenings, book readings, workshops, and plenary sessions. Viet was invited as a mega-session speaker and lectured on “Southeast Asians in the United States, the United States in Southeast Asia: Notes on Field and Method.”
