For the next installment of Tom’s Book Club, we will have a live event featuring Viet Thanh Nguyen, author of The Sympathizer (Grove/Atlantic, April 2015), in conversation with Tom Lutz. Described by T.C. Boyle as “a disturbing, fascinating, and darkly comic take on the fall of Saigon,” The Sympathizer, through the lens of literature, film, and current conflicts, examines the legacy of the Vietnam War.
This is event is specifically for Tom’s Book Club members and is being graciously hosted by Chevalier’s Books in LA on Saturday, August 29th from 4 – 5 PM, followed by a book signing from 5 – 5:30 PM.
