Viet Appointed as Delegate of the U.S. American Studies Association to the Japanese Association for American Studies

This June, the Japan-United States Friendship Commission sponsored Viet’s lecture tour, Memories of the Bad War: Ethnicity and Empathy in Viet Nam. As a delegate of the U.S. American Studies Association to the Japanese Association for American Studies, Viet received $7,300 from the Japan-United States Friendship Commission for his lecture tour.
